FOMBLIN (PFPE)

FOMBLIN perfluoropolyether (PFPE) fluids are excellent choices for applications where a chemically inert pump fluid is required.

Fomblin provides a cost effective solution to difficult pumping problems where corrosive gasses, acids and oxygen enriched atmospheres are present.

Fomblin Y fluids are a mixture of fluorinated polymers obtained by a photochemical process that begins with hexaflouropylene.  Since the FOMBLIN chemical chain contains only carbon, fluorine, and oxygen atoms, the PFPEs have exceptional properties such as:

- Low vapor pressure
- Chemical inertness
- Non-flammability
- Low Toxicity
- Excellent compatibility with metals, plastics, elastomers
