VACUUM FORMULA When establishing formula for the
sizing of vacuum pumping systems, some assumptions are made….One is that our gases follow the Ideal gas law.The ideal gas law was a product of empirical determinations (Boyle's & Charle's
Law) showing the relationship of VOLUME, PRESSURE, and TEMPERATURE in a gas. That relationship is explained by: This relationship shows the following:1) At a constant temperature
the volume of a given gas is inversely proportinal to pressure. 2) At a constant pressure the volume of a given gas is directly proportional to absolute temperature.
With this basis understanding of how our gases will behave in a vacuum environment, we can no proceed to our pump sizing. TOLL FREE (888) 416-7366 |
